Set Appliance State:
| Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4 |
Set Multimeter to Resistance 
Remove lower facia panel
Disconnect the connector ST16 situated at the bottom R/H side of the PCB
Disconnect the connector ST16 situated at the bottom R/H side of the PCB
Measurement:
Test 1:
Measure the resistance across the brown wires (1 & 2 on R/H) on the disconnected connector, approximately 80 Ohms should be present.
Test 2:
Measure the resistance across the purple wires (7 & 8 on R/H) on the disconnected connector, approximately 80 Ohms should be present.
Test 3:
Measure the resistance from either of the
purple wires (7 or 8 on R/H) to a suitable either point.
Resistance should be greater than 1M Ohm.
Test 4:
Measure the resistance from either of the
brown wires (1 or 2 on R/H) to a suitable either point.
Resistance should be greater than 1M Ohm.
Measure the resistance across the brown wires (1 & 2 on R/H) on the disconnected connector, approximately 80 Ohms should be present.
Test 2:
Measure the resistance across the purple wires (7 & 8 on R/H) on the disconnected connector, approximately 80 Ohms should be present.
Test 3:
Measure the resistance from either of the
purple wires (7 or 8 on R/H) to a suitable either point.
Resistance should be greater than 1M Ohm.
Test 4:
Measure the resistance from either of the
brown wires (1 or 2 on R/H) to a suitable either point.
Resistance should be greater than 1M Ohm.
Isolate as per TOPs P4
and refit as necessary
