Set Appliance State:

Set Multimeter to DC Volts 
Remove lower facia panel
Service mode potentiometer set to MAX
Service mode potentiometer set to MAX
Gas On

Measurement:
Allow fan to run and burner to ignite.
After approximately 8 seconds measure the voltage across the terminals of the modulating solenoid (blue wires).
Is approximately 8 Volts DC present across the terminals of the solenoid?
After approximately 8 seconds measure the voltage across the terminals of the modulating solenoid (blue wires).
Is approximately 8 Volts DC present across the terminals of the solenoid?
Isolate as per TOPs P4
and refit as necessary
