Set Appliance State:

Set Multimeter to Resistance 
Remove the backplate of the control box, remove the PCB
and the transformer from the PCB
and the transformer from the PCB
Measurement:
The transformer has pins on each side of its base.
Place the transformer down so that the pins are on the right.
Ensure to consider the resistance of
the fused probes, especially on Test 2.
Test 1:
Measure the resistance across the two metal pins at the top.
Resistance should be approximately 100 Ohms.
Test 2:
Measure resistance across the two lower pins.
Resistance should be approximately 1.4 Ohms.
Place the transformer down so that the pins are on the right.
Ensure to consider the resistance of
the fused probes, especially on Test 2.
Test 1:
Measure the resistance across the two metal pins at the top.
Resistance should be approximately 100 Ohms.
Test 2:
Measure resistance across the two lower pins.
Resistance should be approximately 1.4 Ohms.
Isolate as per TOPs P4
and refit as necessary
