Set Appliance State:
| Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4 |
Turn Hot Water Tap On
Attach a U-gauge to the gas valve burner pressure test point
Remove the leads from the modulating solenoid (blue wire) and make safe
Remove the leads from the modulating solenoid (blue wire) and make safe
| WARNING! Mains voltage is expected during test, follow TOPs P4 live testing procedure |
Measurement:
Reset appliance if it is in lockout.
Allow fan to run and burner to ignite.
Does the burner fully cross light and remain
alight at the correct minimum pressure (refer to table) and does ignition sparking cease?
Note:
1. Sparking will only be present for approximately 10 seconds and will make 5 attempts at ignition before lockout will occur. This can be reset by pressing and holding the reset button (flashing) for a few seconds.
2. When pressure gauge is removed the pressure test point should be tightened and checked for gas tightness.
