VOLTAGE TO FAN (HIGH SPEED)

Set Appliance State:

Set Multimeter to AC Volts

Turn Hot Water Tap On

Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4
Gain access to PCB, use isolation mat as required

WARNING! - Mains voltage is expected during test follow
TOPs P4 live testing procedure

Mains Power On

Measurement:

Appliance On/Off control set to ON position.
TEST 1. Measure for mains voltage at connector ST1 right hand pin (red wire, fan high speed) and a suitable earth connection.

Expected voltage approx. 240vac.
TEST 2. Measure for AC voltage at connector ST1 left hand pin (black wire, fan neutral) and a suitable earth connection.

Expected voltage approx. 0 vac.

Note:
Voltage will only be present for approximately 30 seconds when demand first applied to appliance, reset appliance via On/Off switch/reset button as required until test complete.
