Set Appliance State:

Set Multimeter to Resistance Set meter to measure resistance
Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4
Remove the ignition electrode leads

Measurement:

Measure the resistance of both of the electrode leads.
Resistance should be 2-3 KOhms between the ends of each lead.
