FULL VOLTAGE MODULATING SOLENOID

Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4

Set Multimeter to DC Volts

Turn Hot Water Tap On

Remove connector (blue wires) from modulating solenoid
Boiler ON/OFF switch OFF
DHW temperature selector at MAX

Gas On

WARNING! - Mains voltage is expected during test follow
TOPs P4 live testing procedure

Mains Power On

Boiler ON/OFF switch ON.
Allow boiler to ignite and run for at least 4 seconds.
Measure voltage at disconnected connector.

Connectors are fitted
at rear of gas valve

Note:
Place connector on an insulation mat to carry out this test, do NOT hold connector.
