Attach U-gauge to gas valve outlet pressure test point
Heating system should be cold
Boiler ON/OFF switch ON
Attach U-gauge to gas valve outlet pressure test point
Heating system should be cold
Boiler ON/OFF switch ON

Measurement:
Allow boiler to commence its ignition sequence and the burner to ignite.
Burner should run at 0.9mb for 2 minutes then ramp up over 1 minute to its set pressure.
Does boiler operate as above and is the CH burner pressure set to an appropriate level for the size of the system?
Notes:
The boiler is fully modulating and pressure ramp up will only take place if the system is cold and does not reach a satisfactory temperature in the initial 2 minutes.
If system temperature rise is satisfactory no increase in burner pressure should be considered normal operation.
When U-gauge is removed pressure test point should be tightened & checked for gas tightness.
