Set Appliance State:

Gas Off
Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4
Boiler ON/OFF Switch OFF
CH Temperature Selector OFF
DHW Temperature Selector OFF

Observation:

Check the Electrodes thoroughly for poor or cracked insulation and general condition.
