Set Appliance State:

Set Multimeter to Resistance Set meter to measure resistance
Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4
Room thermostat (if fitted) calling

Measurement:

Measure resistance across terminals marked Ls and Lr.
Resistance should be short circuit.
Note:
If room thermostat is not fitted then a link
should connect terminals marked Ls and Lr.
