Set Appliance State:
| Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4 |
Set Multimeter to AC Volts 
Gain access to PCB (use Insulation Mat as required)
Heating temperature selector to OFF
Hot water temperature selector to OFF
Programmer or selector switch set to hot water only
Heating temperature selector to OFF
Hot water temperature selector to OFF
Programmer or selector switch set to hot water only
Gas On; Pilot On

Measurement:
Measure voltage at connection 2 (brown wire) at connector X12 and connection 3 (neutral, blue wire) at connector X11 on the main PCB.
Note:
Appliance may be fitted with either a selector switch or a programmer, however the test remains the same.

Isolate as per TOPs P4
and refit as necessary
