Set Appliance State:

Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4
Set Multimeter to Resistance Set meter to measure resistance

Measurement:

Measure resistance across connections 1 and 2 on connector X8.
Replace connector after test.
Note:
A link should be present between connections 1 and 2.
