Set Appliance State:

Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4
Drain Boiler Primary Circuit

Observation:

Remove and inspect the pump check valve / air vent for wear, blockages or restrictions.
Note:
Older models may have a blanking plug fitted instead of a check valve.
