Set Appliance State:
Set Multimeter to Resistance 
Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4
Remove connector from X11 on main driver board
Remove connector from X11 on main driver board
Measurement:
Test 1:
While measuring the resistance across the pink and purple wires at the disconnected plug, turn the temperature control between maximum and minimum.
Resistance should vary between 0ohms at minimum and 12kohms at maximum.
Test 2:
Measure resistance between purple and yellow wires on the connector, 12Kohms should be present.
While measuring the resistance across the pink and purple wires at the disconnected plug, turn the temperature control between maximum and minimum.
Resistance should vary between 0ohms at minimum and 12kohms at maximum.
Test 2:
Measure resistance between purple and yellow wires on the connector, 12Kohms should be present.
Isolate as per TOPs P4
and refit as necessary
