Selector switch to Heating & Water
Gas On

Observation:
Is the pump running satisfactorily?
Do not take noise or vibration as a sign of the pump running.
Note:
On start up both pumps are spun as a safety check, make sure that the pump being checked remains spinning.
If pump vent plug is removed to observe pump shaft rotating, care should be taken that water does not drip on electrical components.

Isolate as per TOPs P4
and refit as necessary
