Set Appliance State:

Set Multimeter to Resistance Set meter to measure resistance
Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4
Remove Electrode lead from boiler

Measurement:

Carry out a continuity test between the two ends of the Electrode lead.
Confirm Electrode lead is in good condition (undamaged).
