Set Appliance State:

Set Multimeter to Resistance Set meter to measure resistance
Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4
CH temperature selector set at minimum
Remove connector X1 from main PCB
Resistance to be measured at CH temperature potentiometer on control panel

Measurement:

Test 1:
Measure resistance between Pink and Violet wires on CH temperature selector and turn temperature selector from minimum to maximum.
Resistance measured should vary between short circuit resistance and 10 kohms.
Test 2:
Measure resistance between Pink and Yellow wires on CH temperature selector and turn temperature selector from maximum to minimum.
Resistance measured should vary between short circuit resistance and 10 kohms.
