Set Appliance State:

Set Multimeter to Resistance Set meter to measure resistance
Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4
Disconnect the two Pink wires from the Gas Valve Main Solenoid

Measurement:

Measure the resistance of the solenoid.
Resistance should be approximately 60 ohms.
