Set Appliance State:

Set Multimeter to Resistance Set meter to measure resistance
Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4
Remove the electrode lead from the electrode and spark generator

Measurement:

Carry out a continuity test between the two ends of the Electrode lead.
