Set Appliance State:

Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4
Set Multimeter to Resistance Set meter to measure resistance
Disconnect rectification lead from spark electrode and ignition module

Measurement:

Measure the resistance between the ends of the ignition / rectification lead.
Resistance should be approximately 1kΩ.
Inspect the lead for good overall condition.
