Set Appliance State:

Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4
Set Multimeter to Resistance Set meter to measure resistance
Remove fan & burner assembly

Measurement:

Check spark electrode is in good overall condition:
  • Ceramic uncracked
  • Electrode not warped or distorted
  • Spark gap between electrodes should be 3-4mm
  • Spark gap from electrodes to burner should be approx 10mm.
    Check for continuity (zero resistance)
    between the ends of the electrode.
