Observation:
The Remeha Avanta Plus control unit has an error
memory which stores the last 16 fault codes.
Follow instructions to access the error memory:
(this cannot be accessed while appliance is carrying out self-check)
1. Press ⮠ and R buttons (press ⮠ first), display should alternate C & 0.
2. Press - until display alternates between C & 88.
3. Press ⮠ , display will flash Er 16, this is the most recent fault code.
Use the + and - buttons to cycle through the errors, with Er 01 being the oldest.
4. Pressing ⮠ will display information about the appliance when the fault code occurred
on a loop. Fault code, status code, number of occurrences, flow & return temperatures.
Press R to go back to choose a different error code and press R again to exit error memory.
Status Code List:
0 - Standby
1 - Pre / Post Purge Stage
2 - Ignition Stage
3 - Running for CH
4 - Running for DHW
5 - Heating on but up to temperature or not running due to recent DHW demand
6 - Pump overrun after CH
7 - Pump overrun after DHW
8 - Flow temp higher than set temperature
9 - No flow, >45 deg between flow & return, quick temp rise or lock down on pins 5-6 of X9 activated (low system pressure)
10 - Self check (only seen via fault code memory)
