Set Appliance State:
| Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4 |
Set Multimeter to DC Volts 
Gain access to PCB (use Insulation Mat as required)
Remove fan connector from fan assembly and make safe
Remove fan connector from fan assembly and make safe

Measurement:
Reset E8 fault code if still shown.
3 minutes after power is reinstated or 3 minutes after E8 fault code has been reset measure the voltage between the green wire on X8 to a suitable earth point.
Approximately 28 vdc should be measured.
Is the voltage measured as expected?
Note:
Voltage will only be present for approximately 1 minute as the PCB attempts
to run the fan before lockout (i.e. voltage present between 3 and 4 minutes
after power is reinstated / E8 fault code has been reset).
Although this test is time consuming, repeat test
as necessary until outcome is determined.

and refit as necessary
