Set Appliance State:

Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4
Set Multimeter to Resistance Set meter to measure resistance
Remove electrical connector from spark generator

Measurement:

Test 1.
Measure for resistance across the exposed terminals of the spark generator.
Expected resistance greater than 1 MOhm (O.L is greater than 1MOhm).
Test 2 - Resistance to Earth:
Measure the resistance across one exposed terminal of the spark generator & a suitable earth connection.
Expected resistance greater than 1 MOhm (O.L is greater than 1MOhm).
