Set Appliance State:

Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4
Set Multimeter to Resistance Set meter to measure resistance
Remove the connector from the gas valve

Measurement:

Test 1:
Measure the resistance between the two pins on the gas valve.
Expect approximately 116 ohms.
Test 2:
Measure the resistance between one pin (either) on the
gas valve individually to a suitable earth point.
Expected resistance greater than 1 MOhm.
