Observation:
The appliance will carry out a 5 minute self-check and purge cycle every time the power is reinstated, any applied demands will not commence until the self-check has completed.
To speed up fault finding it is recommended to cancel the purge cycle, the following procedure will need to followed every time power is re-instated to the boiler, it will be beneficial to remember this procedure.
Instructions
1. Turn the electrical supply to the appliance ON.
Mains Power On
2. As soon as the appliance version number appears on the display (on this example 5) press and hold the ECO button until all of the symbols appear on the display, then release the button, the purge cycle should now have cancelled and the appliance should be in standby mode.
3. If FH appears on the display then the appliance has entered its purge cycle, repeat the above process until the purge cycle is cancelled
