Set Appliance State:
| Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4 |
Set Multimeter to Resistance 
Disconnect lead from electrode
Measurement:
Check electrode is not warped or distorted and that the ceramic is not cracked.
Check that it is correctly positioned and gap to burner is set properly (refer to pictures).
Check for continuity (zero resistance) between the tip of the electrode to the lead connection.
Note:

Isolate as per TOPs P4
and refit as necessary
