Set Appliance State:
Gas Off
| Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4 |
Attach U gauge to inlet pressure test point
Gas On
| WARNING! - Mains voltage is expected during test follow TOPs P4 live testing procedure |
Observation:
Allow fan purge to complete (2 minutes).
Turn hot water tap ON.
Allow fan to run and ignition sequence to commence.
Observe the U gauge during the sparking stage of the ignition cycle, the pressure should dip slightly to indicate that the gas valve is opening.
Note:
When "U" gauge is removed test point should be tightened and checked for gas tightness.
