Set Appliance State:
| Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4 |
Set Multimeter to Resistance 
Remove connector from X6 on the PCB
Appliance may have a flue thermistor or a heat exchanger thermistor, disconnect plug / connector from whichever is fitted
Appliance may have a flue thermistor or a heat exchanger thermistor, disconnect plug / connector from whichever is fitted
Measurement:
Check for continuity (zero resistance) of the wires running
from the flue thermistor / heat exchanger sensor to
pins 4 and 5 (blue and brown) at connector X6 on the PCB.
Inspect the harness and plugs for good overall condition.
Note:
Colour of wires may change but test points remain the same.

Isolate as per TOPs P4
and refit as necessary
