Set Appliance State:
Mains Power Off
Set Multimeter to DC Volts 
Turn Hot Water Tap On
Selector switch in HOT WATER position

Measurement:
With the DHW tap fully open, measure the DC voltage across the brown and black leads on the modureg solenoid.
The voltage reading should be approximately 24 Volts DC.
Note:
Ensure the multimeter is in DC volts setting. Other meter settings may cause damage to the PCB.

Isolate as per TOPs P4
and refit as necessary
