Set Appliance State:

Set Multimeter to Resistance Set meter to measure resistance
Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4
Ensure external controls, if fitted, are calling

Measurement:

Measure resistance across connection 4 and connection 5 on the main terminal block.
Note:
If external controls are not fitted, then a link should be present between the terminals.
