Set Appliance State:
Mains Power Off
Gas On; Pilot On
Set Multimeter to DC Volts 
Turn Hot Water Tap On
Selector switch to HOT WATER position

Measurement:
With the DHW tap fully open, measure the DC voltage across the brown and black leads on the modureg solenoid.
The voltage reading should be approximately 24 Volts DC.
Allow the boiler to heat the hot water.
If necessary, decrease the flow rate at the tap to assist temperature rise.
Does the DC voltage reduce as the temperature of the DHW demands a reduction in boiler output?
