Set Appliance State:

Gas Off
Set Multimeter to Resistance Set meter to measure resistance
Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4

Measurement:

Remove and check the spark electrode lead connecting the spark generator to the intermediate ignition spark connector inside the electrical control box and check it for continuity and signs of damage.
Note:
Care should be taken when reassembling the control box.
