Set Appliance State:

Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4
Set Multimeter to Resistance Set meter to measure resistance
Gain access to pump terminals
Remove wiring from pump terminals

Measurement:

Test 1:
Measure the resistance between the live and neutral connections on the pump.
Expect a resistance of approximately 220 ohms.
Test 2:
Measure the resistance between the live and earth connections on the pump.
Expect a resistance of 1Mohm or greater.
(O.L. is acceptable because it is greater than 1 MOhm)
Are the resistances measured as expected?
