Set Appliance State:
Gas Off
| Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4 |
Turn Hot Water Tap On
Attach Pressure gauge to gas inlet pressure test point
Gas On
| WARNING! - Mains voltage is expected during test follow TOPs P4 live testing procedure |
Observation:
Reset appliance if required (Press reset button once then release)
Allow self-check to complete and ignition sequence to commence.
Observe the Pressure gauge throughout the ignition phase, during the sparking stage of the ignition sequence there should be a noticeable dip from standing to working pressure as the gas valve opens.
Inlet pressure should remain above 17.5mb (NG) or 29mb (LPG) throughout the ignition sequence.
Allow self-check to complete and ignition sequence to commence.
