Set Appliance State:
| Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4 |
Set Multimeter to Resistance 
Remove the ignition electrode from the burner door
Disconnect the ignition lead from the PCB
Disconnect the ignition lead from the PCB
Measurement:
Measure the resistance of the ignition electrode and lead.
Expected resistance approximately 1 kOhm.
Thoroughly inspect the ignition electrode and lead for;
Wear and/or warping.
Contamination.
Cracks and/or damage to ceramic.
Confirm electrode spark gap is 3mm +/- 0.5mm.
Note.
1. If required clean the electrode with a small brush (not with a wire brush) or emery paper.
2. Always examine any seals or gaskets, replacing where necessary.
Expected resistance approximately 1 kOhm.
Thoroughly inspect the ignition electrode and lead for;

Isolate as per TOPs P4
and refit as necessary
