Set Appliance State:
| Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4 |
Gain access to the internal clock
Remove the leads from terminals 3 & 5 on the clock
Note.
For access to the internal clock remove the two screws from the front facia then remove, be careful not to damage the pressure gauge capillary tube during the process

Measurement:
Test 1.
Turn the clock to the ON position.
Measure the resistance between pins 3 & 5.
Expected resistance open circuit.
Test 2.
Turn the clock to the OFF position.
Measure the resistance between pins 3 & 5.
Expected resistance short circuit.
Turn the clock to the ON position.
Measure the resistance between pins 3 & 5.
Expected resistance open circuit.
Test 2.
Turn the clock to the OFF position.
Measure the resistance between pins 3 & 5.
Expected resistance short circuit.

Isolate as per TOPs P4
and refit as necessary
