Set Appliance State:

Turn Hot Water Tap On
Attach a temperature clamp to the flow pipe
Remove silencer and attach a temperature clamp to the return pipe behind the fan
Refit the silencer
Note.
Ensure a good connection is made with the flow and return pipes or misdiagnosis will occur and ensure silencer is refitted before carrying out the test

Observation:
Allow boiler to operate for hot water for 2 - 3 minutes.
Monitor the temperature differential across the flow and return pipes.
Expected a temperature differential of approximately 20°C or less.

Isolate as per TOPs P4
and refit as necessary
