VOLTAGE FAN DEMAND

Set Appliance State:

Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4

Set Multimeter to DC Volts

Turn Hot Water Tap On

Remove fan connector and make safe

WARNING! - Mains voltage is expected during test follow
TOPs P4 live testing procedure

Mains Power On

Measurement:

Reset the appliance.
(Press reset button once then release)
Measure the DC voltage between pin 1 on connector CN4 on the PCB to a suitable earth point.
DC voltage should drop to approximately 55 Vdc.

Note.
1. You will only get one opportunity at the above test before lockout occurs, therefore if a HW tap is not within close proximity to you, you will not have time to get back from the tap to the appliance to carry out the test, for ease it is advised to apply a CH demand and control the appliance via the ON/OFF button on the front of the appliance.
2. Reset as required until test is complete.
