Set Appliance State:

Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4
Set Multimeter to Resistance Set meter to measure resistance
Disconnect electrical connector from the spark generator

Measurement:

Test 1.
Measure the resistance between the Live and
Neutral pins on the spark generator
Test 2.
Measure the resistance between the Live pin on
the spark generator to a suitable earth connection.
Test 3.
Measure the resistance between the Neutral pin on
the spark generator to a suitable earth connection.
Expected resistance greater than 1 MOhm on all tests.
Note.
1. A reading of O.L on each test is acceptable as this is greater than 1 MOhm.
2. The pins on the spark generator should be labelled.
