Set Appliance State:
| Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4 |
Turn Hot Water Tap On
Attach a temperature clamp to the flow pipe just above the overheat stat,
Remove silencer and attach a temperature clamp to the return pipe behind the fan, Refit the silencer
Note:
Ensure a good connection is made with the flow & return pipes
or misdiagnosis will occur and ensure silencer is refitted before carrying out the test

Observation:
Allow boiler to operate for hot water for 2 - 3 minutes.
Monitor the temperature differential across the flow and return pipes.
Expected a temperature differential of approximately 25°C or less.

Isolate as per TOPs P4
and refit as necessary
