RESISTANCE HARNESS SPARK GENERATOR

Set Appliance State:

Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4

Set Multimeter to Resistance

Remove connector CN3 from the PCB
Disconnect the electrical lead from the spark generator

Measurement:

Measure the resistance between pins 1 and 2 on the connector CN3 to the corresponding pins of the spark generator cable as indicated below.
Expect continuity / zero resistance on both tests.
Also visually inspect the condition of the harness.

Note.
On some PCB's the connector will be labelled as CN22 not CN3 and its orientation will differ, however the test points and expected results remain the same.
