Set Appliance State:

Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4
Set Multimeter to Resistance Set meter to measure resistance
Remove the electrical connector from the diverter motor
Remove locking pin and release diverter motor
Note.
The diverter motor can be removed without the need for draining

Measurement:

Measure the resistance between the terminals on
the diverter motor it should conform to the table below:
PinsResistance
1-29.4 KOhms or greater
2-39.4 KOhms or greater

Note.
The test can be carried out with the diverter motor in situ.
