Set Appliance State:

Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4
Set Multimeter to Resistance Set meter to measure resistance
Disconnect electrical connector from the spark generator

Measurement:

Test 1.
Measure the resistance between the Live and
Neutral pins on the spark generator.
Test 2.
Measure the resistance between the Live and
Earth pins on the spark generator.
Test 3.
Measure the resistance between the Neutral and
Earth pins on the spark generator.
Expected resistance greater than 1 MOhm on all tests.
Note.
1. A reading of O.L on each test is acceptable as this is greater than 1 MOhm.
2. The pins on the spark generator should be labelled.
