RESISTANCE GAS VALVE HARNESS

Set Appliance State:

Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4

Set Multimeter to Resistance

Remove connector CN3 from the PCB
Remove the electrical connector from the gas valve

Measurement:

Test 1.
Measure the resistance between pin 3 (brown) on connector
CN3 to pin 4 (brown) on the gas valve connector.
Test 2.
Measure the resistance between pin 4 (blue) on connector
CN3 to pin 1 (blue) on the gas valve connector.
Test 3.
Measure the resistance between pin 4 (blue) on connector
CN3 to pin 5 (blue) on the gas valve connector.
Expect continuity / zero resistance on each test.
Also visually inspect the condition of the harness.

Note.
On some PCB's the connector will be labelled as CN22 not CN3 and its orientation will differ, however the test points and expected results remain the same.
