Set Appliance State:

Set Multimeter to Resistance Set meter to measure resistance
Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4
Room Thermostat calling for heat or shorting link in place.

Measurement:

Check for short circuit resistance between C1 and C2.
Terminals are on the L/H side of the PCB.
