Set Appliance State:
| Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4 |
Set Multimeter to DC Volts 
Disconnect the plug connections from the gas valve solenoids (black leads)
Boiler On/Off switch Off
Attach multi-meter probes to the connections on one of the disconnected plugs
Boiler On/Off switch Off
Attach multi-meter probes to the connections on one of the disconnected plugs

Measurement:
Test 1:
Boiler On/Off switch On.
Reset lockout if necessary.
Allow fan to run and ignition sequence to commence.
After approximately 30 seconds is voltage present at the connections?
Voltage will only be present for 2 to 3 seconds as burner will not ignite.
Expected voltage approximately 38 volts DC.
Test 2:
Repeat test on the disconnected plug.
Reconnect plugs after test.
Boiler On/Off switch On.
Reset lockout if necessary.
Allow fan to run and ignition sequence to commence.
After approximately 30 seconds is voltage present at the connections?
Voltage will only be present for 2 to 3 seconds as burner will not ignite.
Expected voltage approximately 38 volts DC.
Test 2:
Repeat test on the disconnected plug.
Reconnect plugs after test.
Isolate as per TOPs P4
and refit as necessary
