Set Appliance State:
| Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4 |
Set Multimeter to Resistance 
Disconnect the rectification electrode from the condensate electrode and then remove it from the appliance
Measurement:
Visually inspect the detection electrode to ensure it is clean and in good condition.
Check the electrode has not warped or distorted by checking the measurement to the tip from a flat surface is 20mm as shown and that it looks like the image.
Check the resistance from the tip of the electrode to the end of the harness, expect continuity / zero resistance.
Is the detection electrode satisfactory?

Isolate as per TOPs P4
and refit as necessary
