Set Appliance State:

Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4
Remove locking pin and release diverter valve actuator head
Note:
The actuator head can be removed without the need for draining

Observation:

Using thin nose pliers push the diverter pin inwards, it should move in by approximately 10mm, when released it should spring back to its original position.
Movement should be smooth and the pin should move freely.
