Set Appliance State:
Gas Off
| Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4 |
Set Multimeter to AC Volts 
Turn Hot Water Tap On
Selector switch set to ch/dhw
Dhw temperature control set to max
Dhw temperature control set to max
| WARNING! - Mains voltage is expected during test follow TOPs P4 live testing procedure |
Measurement:
Allow ignition sequence to start.
After approximately 5 seconds measure for mains voltage across connections 1 (blue) and 2 (brown) on connector CN5 on the PCB.
Expect mains voltage.
Voltage will only be present for approximately 5 seconds during the ignition phase, the appliance will try to ignite once before going to lockout.
Note:
Reset boiler as required to complete test.
